Monday night.

Had work today, just the per usual. There was a shit load of letters to mail out and sort today though. No joke, literally over 100 letters. And i'm not even exaggerating. But oh wells. Didn't get it done, but did what i could :)

I've got my scuba diving course booked in for the 24th,25th, 26th of April :) SO EXCITED! Need to check if i need any gear or anything, cause then i need to go grab it off my cousin. Seriously cant wait to do it :D Cant wait to get my qualifications :D SO EXCITED HAHAHA!

We're going hiking this weekend! WOOT WOOT! Hahah yeah :)

So what else has happened over the last week. Handed in my first uni assignment? LOL It was the worst assignment ever. It was for Language&Discourse, which is already a horrible subject, and the essay we had to write was just ridiculously hard :( I seriously just hope i pass, no joke. Tutor even told us that the average of the class will be a pass/credit. How demeaning is that, right.

Watched The Hunger Games the other day. It was pretty good :) The movie felt really short, even though it was a whole 2.5 hours long. When we got into the cinema i was so excited cause there was no one there and i've always just wanted to watch a movie with no one in the cinema cept me and whoever i was with. But then, a couple of people came in :( Oh wells, it was still really good.

Oh, went to my official Queen's Scout ceremony on Saturday! It was really exciting :D We had to get to the Government House by 8:30, had to have proper pants on, and black laced up polished leather shoes .. ie, school shoes. We all looked like a bunch of the biggest nerds, but it paid off, we did look amazing! So caught the train up with mum and Jes cause we weren't bothered to look for parking. Got there and made our way over to the Botanical Gardens and then found our way to the Government House. It was all good, cause there were other scouts at the station so we didn't really get lost :) HAHAHA chilled outside the gates for a while till everyone came and then we got our names checked off the list and the gates opened. We headed inside and got put into the seating arrangements in alphabetical order and then just mingled and chilled till around 10 when all the guests arrived. No joke, it went straight into the ceremony. Just national anthem and then BAM presentation. Marie Bashir, the Governor of NSW is absolutely amazing! She is so cute! Seriously, i just wanted to hug her when she presented me with my award. She told me that i was beautiful and that i would achieve great things in life. So sweet :) Even though i'm sure she said things along the same lines to everyone else too HAHAH but that's besides the point.

So once all our awards were presented, we headed to the front to get the group photo and then it was back out to get some morning tea. Got a few photos and had a conversation with her Excellency and then we headed off home. It was a really good day and i had an amazing time :) I hope all the vent girls get their QS and get to go one day! Cause it's just an amazing experience :)

Anyways, need to catch up on all my readings cause i skipped quite a few last week cause of the assignment. My tutor for tomorrow said that we all have to be able to present on our readings cause we have to have done them in great detail and whatnot. Weaaa and it's about media, so it's not really that interesting either. But oh wells, got to suck it up and just do it.
