Shrek: If i treated you so bad, how come you came back?
Donkey: Because that's what friends do, they forgive each other.
Today was absolutely amazing! So as i have told you, we decided to still go Geocaching, regardless of the weather. Picked E up at around 10ish, and then we headed out to Villawood. Bought some $1 rain ponchos and some other cute little things and then we were off! Our original plan was to go find the other 2 geocaches at Fairfield, but for some miraculous reason, they've seem to have disappeared off the site, and since we didn't save it, we didn't have the coordinates. Instead, we decided to go to Bass Hill.

Bass Hill Plaza was our first stop. We've come to realise that, we have a tendency to always walk in the wrong direction on our first go. Like usual, we walked the wrong away. We were walking along the Hume Highway in our bright green ponchos and i had my pink gum boots on, so we were pretty easy to spot i'd admit HAHA We walked for about 100 metres till we decided that we're best off walking back. The name of the cache was Creepy Surroundings .. which wasn't intriguing at all! The clue said something about beware but do not fear, which really scared us! Eventually, we headed in the right direction. And before we knew it, we were there! The only thing ahead of us was a tree, which meant, the cache was hidden in the tree somewhere. So E went around one side and i went around the other. Next thing i knew she was like OMGOSH JEN! THERE'S A SPIDER! For those who don't know, i am horrified of spiders! I went around to her side and we just stared at it. If you drove past us, you would've thought we were some retarded girls who were up to no good behind a tree whilst it was raining. We stared for a while before we noticed that the spider looked rather strange. It looked half fake, but then looked rather real. We used our pen and poked it. It didn't move. It was fake! We looked at bit a while longer and realised that the cache was attached to the spider which was hidden inside a hole in the tree! SO AWESOME! Shame i couldn't get a picture of it, it was raining so we left our phones in the car.
After we found it, we headed back to the car for a breather and then decided to go find another. This next one was near the Crest. When we arrived at the car park we thought we were close, but as usual, we walked the wrong way. The clue said something along the lines of "Is it one tree or two." Let's just say, we trekked through the bush and realised it was on the other side of something that appeared to be a river, and there were two scary men nearby and we were in the middle of no where, so we didn't find it.
BUT, because we are not quitters, we went back to the car and looked for another. We thought this one would be inside of the Crest where high jump is, because of the clue. But boy were we wrong. This one was a puzzle one, it took us a rather long time actually! The clue told us that the cache was hidden underneath something that was fallen. We found it, it was a tree. DUDE, IT WAS RAINING AND THERE WERE BUGS AND IT WAS WET! And we just poked everything with our stick! We were both too scared to climb in to find it. But eventually we found it. All the way at the bottom of the tree, a tupperware box laid. We had to roll a dice and then go the the coordinates to find the next clue. Eventually we finished and we found everything and hid everything back to where we found it. We discovered a really nice place as well! It was so pretty! But would probably be rather scary at night.
We are determined to find more! After we're both back from our short trips, we'll go finding more! So excited!
